Are you a songwriter who wants to release songs, but doesn’t necessarily have the gear or recording skills to get the professional sound you have in mind?

I think I can help.

My name is Fleur Dosnon. I’m a producer, arranger, and multi-instrumentalist with decades of experience in both playing and recording. I love all types of music, enjoy exploring new soundscapes, and am passionate about helping artists bring their songs to life.
  • My approach:

I’m not a beat-maker. I don’t just pick samples from over-used libraries. I don’t use AI tools to generate anything.

As a songwriter myself, I understand how personal each song is and the care I put into each  piece of music reflects this. I look to understand you and your universe as an artist and bring this to life in your final recordings.

My goal is not to make you sound like this or this artist or that, but to help you sound authentically you!

  • This often involves:

    • Discussing your influences and exchanging references
We’ll find a common understanding of the sound you want so I can record rich, original, and full-of-character arrangements that will elevate your songs.

    • Refining through ongoing feedback
I prefer regular, open feedback over a finite number of revisions, and meaningful collaboration over a rushed job. I want to create something we’re both thrilled with and take the time to get it right.

    • Assistance with mixing and mastering
As an experienced engineer, I can record and arrange your music as well as mix and master.

    • Working both remote and in person
Ideas and revisions can often be discussed over email or the phone, but there’s something to be said for collaborating in person. And of course, we’ll record in studio!

My space and gear

I am a gear head. I have carefully selected, quality equipment, and, more importantly, I know how to use it.

I can do most work remotely, but have a space in Toronto’s East End (Riverside) to record vocals and other live instruments and collaborate in person.

Interested in working together? Don’t hesitate to reach out, even if just for questions.
This might be the beginning of an exciting adventure for both of us.
